At Keep Austin Blue, we recognize that there is an attitude common to the people who live here that makes Austin special. It's a progressive way of thinking about everything we do and touch; everywhere we live, work and play. Our standing as a great city has been because of this attitude. For one thing, the progressive attitudes and actions of the people here has contributed to an environment that has created a vibrant city and an excellent quality of life.

Keep Austin Blue is an all-volunteer effort of former Austin for Kerry Coordinators. After the result of the unbelievable 2004 elections and after numbing our sorrows with strong libations, lively discussions, and copious amounts of bread-pudding at our favorite local establishment, we felt compelled to either move to Canada, effect positive change, or just celebrate the fact that we live in a cool, blue oasis in a desert of red.
We chose the latter two.
Keep Austin Blue is committed to keeping you informed, connected, and engaged with the events and happenings that make Austin great (and not so great). And all the while - having fun!
